Introducing the authentic flavours of Italy to New Delhi has always been the driving force behind the restaurant’s enduring success.  As one of the first Italian trattoria-style restaurants in the city with a live kitchen, La Piazza was also one of the first italian cuisine restaurant with import Italian products, as well as the first to introduce customers to little known Italian wines then.


This Italian Restaurant in Delhi emphasis  on the show kitchen, which features a classic wood-fired oven, perhaps one of the first Renato ovens in the country today that lends a typical flavour to the pizzas. 


The Signature gourmet specialties at La Piazza that has been the restaurants claim for fame ever since it’s opening in the year 1994 includes: Pizza La Piazza, a traditional wood fired oven pizza which comes with an ambrosial topping of goat cheese with sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and pesto.


The wine list at La Piazza comprises a significant selection of some of the most unique and finest wines from around the world.  A noteworthy mix of old and new world wines are featured, with prominent labels including the much coveted flavours of Marchesi Antinori Tignanello from Italy, Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand; Pinfold’s Bin 707, the best wine from Australia, Grans Muralles 2006 from Spain, Château Haut-Brion from France and Chile’s first ultra premium wine – Concha y Toro Don Melchor, to name but a few.

With over 28 years of experience Alessandro Sandrolini joins Hyatt Regency Delhi as Executive Sous Chef. Chef Sandrolini has an extensive culinary background. He has been associated with Hyatt ever since and his amiable and lively services have been a delightful insight into the world of Italian fine dining. In 2009 Chef Alessandro joined the La Piazza kitchens as Chef De Cuisine and now is back in action as executive sous chef
